Perfect spot for families
The kids were in awe of the big space in the room, and even the shower was like something out of a luxury movie. The breakfast spread was good, with everything from pastries to proper cooked bacon and eggs!
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but it was still acceptable.

The breakfast at the Hawthornes was excellent with a delightful range, both continental and cooked. The room offered great amenities, including a flat-screen TV and tea facilities that made my stay feel more comfortable. The hosts, Dee and Steve, created a homey atmosphere, making me feel welcomed right from the start. the traffic noise was quite distracting, especially since my room faced the main highway. On warm nights, I needed to leave the window open, which only intensified the sound and warmth. I also found the access roads can be a bit confusing, requiring some extra time to find the right turns, which was frustrating after a long drive.

The access to the motorway is incredibly convenient, making it easy to get on the road for travelers.
The location is right on a main highway, and it can get quite loud, especially if your room faces west. On warm nights, leaving the window open can lead to bothersome traffic noise, and the room can become uncomfortably warm. The access roads can be a bit confusing, necessitating a few loops around the area to find the right turn, which might add some frustration after a long drive.

Amazing stay with cozy vibes
What a lovely little getaway! The double room was beautifully decorated, and I really enjoyed the cozy tea room. Plus, having a mini fridge was super handy. Only bummer was parking being a bit tight sometimes. Breakfast was a treat, had a nice selection of pastries and cereals to start the day!
